As part of the company’s mission to innovate and engage the next generation audience, 1/ST is leading the way by partnering with renowned equestrian events, the Winter Equestrian Festival and the Split Rock Jumping Tour, and with the Compton Junior Equestrians, on a series of collaborative partnerships that will cross over and connect the world of Thoroughbred racing with the world of equestrian sport offering curated events for both audiences.

1/ST was proud to return as the title sponsor of the CSI2* week at the prestigious Wellington International during the Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF Week 5) from February 5-9, 2025. The partnership collaboration included: • 1/ST branded jumps • Social and digital content pieces • Broadcast and streaming collaboration that showcased 1/ST Thoroughbred racing content to the jumping audience • Content sharing – for example, on January 25, WEF featured the 2025 Pegasus World Cup live on all TVs and on the jumbotron while serving the event’s signature drink, the Pegasus Paloma • 1/ST streamed WEF events at Gulfstream Park and Santa Anita Park racetracks to showcase equestrian sports to the Thoroughbred racing audience during the race meets • On site vendor space streaming live racing • On-site activations during the week, including serving the Pegasus Paloma in the VIP tent, dressing the horse statue with a 1/ST saddle towel and floral blanket

From November 20-24, 2024, 1/ST and Santa Anita Park hosted the inaugural Lugano Diamonds Split Rock Jumping Tour - bringing a new North American League FEI Jumping World Cup Qualifier and CSI5*-W event and the Los Angeles National to the jumping tour.   The infield at Santa Anita Park, one of the world’s most prestigious racetracks, was transformed into a one-of-a-kind show jumping venue to showcase elite equestrian competition.   With a focus on the comfort, safety and excellence of horses and riders, 1/ST made significant investments to the iconic venue to prepare including: • The installation of two premier horse show arenas • Installation of two schooling areas • Addition of 550 dedicated stalls with enhanced security • Grazing area grown especially for our equine athletes

→ Earning its allocation for four consecutive years, the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Los Angeles CSI5*-W is one of only 8 events selected to be part of the 2024/25-2027/28 FEI Jumping World Cup™ North American League (NAL).

→ The competition offered valuable points in determining rider qualification for the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Finals set in Basel, Switzerland from April 2-6, 2025.

→ The sell-out, inaugural Santa Anita CSI5*-W hosted the highest calibre athletes representing 18 countries, including all four members of the U.S. 2024 Olympic Silver medal-winning team: Karl Cook, Kent Farrington, Laura Kraut and McLain Ward (#8 in the Longines FEI Rankings). Fourteen Olympians from the 2024 Paris Olympic Games also competed: Erynn Ballard (CAN), Daniel Bluman (ISR), Ashlee Bond (ISR), Harry Charles (GBR), Daniel Coyle (IRL), Tiffany Foster (CAN), Nayel Nassar (EGY), Cian O’Connor (IRL), Rodrigo Pessoa (BRA), Richard Vogel (GER). The lineup also included several riders from Southern California, including Cook, Lucy Davis, Zazou Hoffman and Alessandra Volpi.

→ The $400,000 Santa Anita CSI5*-W was won by US Olympic duo Karl Cook and his horse, Caracole de la Roque.

→ The inaugural event showcased 1/ST’s commitment to excellence at the intersection of sports, entertainment and luxury lifestyle.

→ In addition to world-class equestrian competition, the event featured a boutique pop-up by Delilah, LA’s hotspot concept by The h.wood Group, and activations by brand partners Voltaire Design, Brainjuice, Archer Roose and SirDavis American Whisky.

→ In November 2025, 1/ST and Santa Anita Park will again host the Split Rock Jumping Tour at Santa Anita Park with two weeks of top sport and entertainment; featuring the Santa Anta CSI5*-W, featuring the FEI Jumping World Cup Qualifier Los Angeles (November 19-23).

In September 2022, 1/ST and Santa Anita Park entered a multi-year sponsor partnership with the Compton Junior Equestrians that continues to this day. Founded by Randall Hook (aka Randy Savvy), the Compton Junior Equestrians was developed by the Compton Cowboys to serve inner city youth in the hub city of Compton, along with local areas. The Compton Junior Equestrians program was formed in response to the lack of programs available to youth in the community who are at risk for dropping out of school, incarceration, and poverty.

Currently:

→ Two dozen after-school students are enrolled in the programs.

→ There are a dozen advanced athletics riders currently enrolled in the Compton Junior Equestrians English Athletics Club.

→ In 2024, 300+ youth participated in on-site programming, fieldtrips and events.

Compton Junior Equestrian Zoie Noelle Brogdon, sponsored by Santa Anita Park, competed during the Los Angeles National and was part of the opening ceremonies for the inaugural Santa Anita CSI5*-W.

→ Zoie is one example of the tremendous impact the program.

→ Zoie started riding in the program when she was 9 and is highly accomplished, including achieving a silver medal at the USHJA National Championships (1.10m-1.15m) and continues to ride with professional and Olympic aspirations.

→ Career days hosted at Santa Anita Park.

→ Spring Meet Internship program at Santa Anita Park that provided students with the opportunity to intern on Saturdays at Santa Anita Park through the spring race meet 2024 offering the participants the opportunity to experience working in hospitality, group sales, marketing, events, racing and horse care capacities.

→ Inclusion of Compton Junior Equestrian and Compton Cowboy Events on prominent race days.

→ Two scholarships are awarded annually, one for the Junior Rider Thoroughbred partnership and one for the Amateur Rider Thoroughbred partnership.

→ The goal is to help the Junior and Amateur rider advance with their Thoroughbred from the local unrated shows or opportunity classes to United States Equestrian Foundation rated competitions.
