1/ST EQUESTRIAN PARTNERSHIPS

• As part of the company’s mission to innovate and engage the next generation audience, 1/ST is leading the way by partnering with renowned equestrian events, the Wellington Equestrian Festival and the Split Rock Jumping Tour, and with the Compton Junior Equestrians, on a series of collaborative partnerships that will cross over and connect the world of Thoroughbred racing with the world of equestrian sport.

• Belinda Stronach, Chairwoman, CEO and President, The Stronach Group and Chairwoman & CEO, 1/ST and Nicole Walker, Vice President, The Stronach Group and champion professional equestrian are championing this new partnership vision.

• The connection between Thoroughbred racing and equestrian events reflects the shared commitment to excellence in sportsmanship and the passion both industries, participants and audiences share for horses, riders, and their care.

• While 1/ST has a proud history of hosting equestrian events at 1/ST venues, including. notably at Santa Anita Park – the site of the 1984 Olympic Summer Games Equestrian notably at Santa Anita Park – the site of the 1984 Olympic Summer Games Equestrian events – these new equestrian partnerships represent an intentional focus to “connect & cross over” offering unique and curated event opportunities for both audiences.

Wellington Equestrian Festival

• 1/ST is proud to be the title sponsor of the CSI2* week at the prestigious Wellington International during the Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF) from February 7-11, 2024.

• 1/ST sponsored class events include: o FEI CSI2* $6000 1.45m on February 7 o FEI CSI2* $6000 1.45m on February 8 o FEI CSI2* $32,000 1.45m Grand Prix Qualifier on February 9 o FEI CSI2* $10,000 1.40m on February 10 o FEI CSI2* $62,500 1.45m Grand Prix on February 11

• The partnership collaboration includes: o 1/ST branded jumps o Social and digital content pieces o Broadcast and streaming collaboration that will see 1/ST RACING Thoroughbred racing content showcased to the jumping audience. On January 28, WEF the 2024 Pegasus World Cup. o 1/ST will in turn, stream WEF events at Gulfstream Park and Santa Anita Park racetracks to showcase equestrian sports to the Thoroughbred racing audience.

Lugano Diamonds Split Rock Jumping Tour

• From November 20-24, 2024, 1/ST and Santa Anita Park will host the Lugano Diamonds Split Rock Jumping Tour - bringing a new FEI Jumping World Cup Qualifier and CSI5* event and the Los Angeles CSI5-W2, to the jumping tour.

• The newly unveiled Los Angeles CSI5-W/2 will offer a full national schedule competition alongside the inaugural Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Los Angeles CSI5*-W qualifying event.

• Earning its allocation for four consecutive years, the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Los Angeles CSI5*-W is one of only 8 events selected to be part of the 2024 FEI Jumping World Cup™ North American League (NAL). The competition will offer valuable points in determining rider qualification for the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Finals set in Basel, Switzerland for 2025.

• Guests of the Lugano Split Rock Jumping Tour event Santa Anita Park can expect to enjoy the world-class hospitality and entertainment experience that is synonymous with 1/ST. o The Lugano Split Rock Jumping Tour event will include premium partnership activations along with a multi-tiered VIP area featuring and lavish food and drink options, and curated entertainment experiences.

Compton Junior Equestrians (CJE) & Compton Cowboys

• In September 2022, 1/ST and Santa Anita Park entered a multi-year sponsor partnership with the Compton Junior Equestrians.

• Founded by Randall Hook (aka Randy Saavy), the Compton Junior Equestrians was developed by the Compton Cowboys to serve inner city youth in the hub city of Compton, along with local areas. o The Compton Junior Equestrians program was formed in response to the lack of programs available to youth in the community who are at risk for dropping out of school, incarceration, and poverty.

• The 1/ST and Santa Anita Park partnership has provided the funding for the Compton Junior Equestrians to lease a new equestrian training center at Shelburne Farms located in the heart of horse country in Hidden Valley, CA.

• Shelburne Farm is the home base for the Compton Junior Equestrians English Athletics Club and serves youth with afterschool, weekend, and school focussed activities. Currently: o Two dozen after-school students are enrolled in the programs. o There are a dozen advanced athletics riders currently enrolled in the Compton Junior Equestrians English Athletics Club. o In 2023, 300+ youth participated in on-site programming, fieldtrips and events.

• Compton Junior Equestrian Zoie Noelle Brogdon is an example of the tremendous impact the program. o Zoie started riding in the program when she was 9 and is highly accomplished, including achieving a silver medal at the USHJA National Championships (1.10m-1.15m) and continues to ride with professional and Olympic aspirations.

• 1/ST and Santa Anita Park partnership examples with the Compton Junior Equestrians and the Compton Cowboys includes: o Career days hosted at Santa Anita Park. o Spring Meet Internship program at Santa Anita Park that provided students with the opportunity to intern on Saturdays at Santa Anita Park through the spring race meet 2023 offering the participants the opportunity to experience working in hospitality, group sales, marketing, events, racing and horse care capacities.

• Compton Junior Equestrian and Compton Cowboy Events at Santa Anita Park on prominent race days: o 2023 Breeders’ Cup World Championships. o 2022 Santa Anita Park Opening Day and 2023 Santa Anita Derby Day, highlights include: Goldenvoice (Stagecoach producer) x Compton Cowboys Concert. Compton Junior Equestrians and Compton Cowboys live riding demonstrations from the infield riding arena. Compton Cowboys led parade on the main track.

• 1/ST and Santa Anita Park support for Shelburne Farm events including: o Hosting jockey colony visits and meet & greets with legendary jockeys - Frankie Dettori, Umberto Rispoli, Diego Herrera - who each rode in a lesson with the Compton Junior Equestrians. o Participation in the 2023 Jessica Springsteen Fundraising Event.

• The 1/ST, Santa Anita Park and Compton Junior Equestrians partnership also includes a unique Thoroughbred aftercare component to rehome and retrain retired racehorses to become part of the CJE and Compton Cowboys programs.

Harris Farms

• 1/ST and Santa Anita Park are proud to support the Harris Farms Thoroughbred Sporthorse Scholarship.

• Two scholarships are awarded annually, one for the Junior Rider Thoroughbred partnership and one for the Amateur Rider Thoroughbred partnership.

• The goal is to help the Junior and Amateur rider advance with their Thoroughbred from the local unrated shows or opportunity classes to United States Equestrian Foundation rated competitions.
