MARYLAND JOCKEY CLUB, THE STRONACH GROUP AND MARYLAND THOROUGHBRED HORSEMEN’S ASSOCIATION AGREE TO LASIX-FREE PILOT PROGRAM

Baltimore, Md – The Maryland Jockey Club, The Stronach Group and the Maryland Thoroughbred Horsemen’s Association have reached an agreement for a Lasix-free pilot program through 2023 that will facilitate Lasix-free races for 2-year-old horses, Lasix-free graded stakes, a minimum number of racing days per week during any Maryland Jockey Club meet and a substantial increase in committed funding for the Beyond The Wire aftercare program.

Hallandale Beach, FL - Drive-InFieldFest is the nation’s first full-scale safe drive-in concert featuring a live performance DJ set by D-Nice exclusively for first responders, which will take place at Gulfstream Park in Hallandale Beach, Florida on Saturday, May 16th, 2020 at 7 p.m. ET. and will be livestreamed on YouTube via www.1stlivepresents.com.

HALLANDALE BEACH, FL – The Stronach Group announced today that Bill Badgett, former General Manager of Gulfstream Park and current President of the Florida Horsemen’s Benevolent and Protective Association, will rejoin the company effective immediately in the capacity of Executive Director, Florida Racing Operations.
